PROTO-TYPE IS FOR CREATIVES AGED 15-19, LIVING IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, WITH A PASSION FOR DIGITAL ARTS & TECHNOLOGY.
ABOUT
Proto-Type are a group of young creatives, exploring the intersection between art and technology. Meeting regularly, the collective provides a rolling programme of artistic development, where members are invited to create, experiment, take risks, share skills, formulate ideas, collaborate and develop their artistic practice.
Proto-Type is for creatives aged 15 - 19, living or in Nottinghamshire, with a passion for digital arts & technology.
Meeting at Studio Urban Projections, (located at the Harley Foundation, Welbeck), the group have full access to a state-of-the-art workspace, equipped with digital technologies, tools, proto-typing facilities and a range of softwares. learn more about digital drawing techniques, 3D modelling, projection mapping, virtual reality and more.

WHO
The programme is created and mentored by Urban Projections (Rebecca Smith). With over 20 years experience as a professional artist, Rebecca has worked with the most prolific names in music, fashion, TV and creative industries. Her work spans a wide array of creative and immersive technologies.
sharing her enthusiasm and passion for arts and technology she actively encourages new and creative ways of exchanging new media practice. Rebecca is an active advocate for the encouragement of women, lgbtq+ and under-represented communities in the arts, and technology sector.
